Tu sei una fontana di giardini, un pozzo di acque vive e flussi fluenti dal Libano.
Zohar
In the meantime, Rabbi Yehuda knocked on the door, entered, and joined him. Rabbi Yitzchak said, Now the Shechinah is with us. Rabbi Yehuda said that this explanation concerning "Be'er Lachai Ro'i" is good, but there is more to be understood from the words. He began with the verse, "a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon" (Shir Hashirim 4:15). This verse was already explained, "a fountain of gardens" is Abraham; "a well of living waters" is Isaac; and "streams from the Lebanon" is Jacob. "A well of living waters" is Isaac, as it is written, "and Isaac dwelt at Be'er Lachai Ro'i" (lit. 'a well of living and seeing'). What is 'a well'? It is the Shechinah, while 'living' is he who is the Life of the Worlds, namely, the Righteous who is the Life of the Worlds and they are not to be separated. He lives in both worlds - he lives above, in the higher world, (Binah) and he lives in the lower world (Malchut). The lower world lives and shines from his strength.
Or Neerav
For from the quarrelsome words of the immature grain, a thorn has spread among the brethren and rebellion like the sin of witchcraft (I Sam. 15:23). When the time comes she raises her wings on high (Job 39:18). God know the days of the perfect (Ps. 37:18) and the way of the righteous (Ps. 1:6), and raises up from the dust (Ps. 113:7) and the far distant sea (Ps. 65:6) all the souls of the house of Jacob (Gen. 46:27). They all eagerly desire to hear the word of God and the ancient records (I Chron. 4:22). However, [until] now they have not seen the clear light of [Him who dwells] in the skies. For from the top of the Rocks I see Him (Num. 23:9), and among those who turn the many to righteousness (Dan. 12:3) I behold Him. Grace is poured upon their lips (Ps. 45:3) like roses (Song 5:13). Their waters are more sure than the garden spring, a well of living waters (Song 4:15). Like doves [going] to their cotes (Isa. 60:8) they have drunk spices. They call to God, and He answers them (Ps. 99:6). This one says, I am the Lord’s (Isa. 44:5), answer me with broad spaces (Ps. 118:5), for my heart does not rest at night (Eccles. 2;23), nor does my spirit within me (Isa. 26:9). This one writes with his hand to the Lord (Isa. 44:5) from that which had preceded him [at] Sinai, and on the skins of kid goats (Gen. 27:16) they set up their signs (Ps. 74:4) which they wrote to instruct them for their generations, an eternal covenant (Exod. 31:16).
Shaarei Orah
And some times the name Adona"y is called in the Torah by the nickname (water) well, and the reason is that it is the well of living waters in which all types of flow and emanation from High enter, as we spoke. And regarding this it is said: "a garden spring, a well of fresh water, a rill of Lebanon" (Song of Songs 4:15). And when Israel are righteous and bless 100 blessings every day as appropriate, this well fills up with living water from the flow of Upper Emanations, and then all are rich and full of every goodness, drawing living water as they need. And sometimes it is also called Be'er Sheva (lit. Well of Seven), since seven waterways continue on her, through the way of the basis (Yesod) of the world, from the Seven Upper Ascents. And corresponding to this well there is another well from the outside, with the rest of the wells that are filled with snakes and scorpions, that are called Foreign Wells, and regarding them it is said: the mouth of (added to the verse) "a harlot is a deep pit; a foreign woman is a well of distress" (Proverbs 23:27). And all those who are complete evil people have no merit to draw from the Well of Seven, and fall into the Well of Foreign Distress, those are the ones who keep following after the serious transgressions. And regarding this there is a hint of Adona"y when Israel sinned regarding this aspect. The prophet said: "For My people have done a twofold wrong: they have forsaken Me, the Foun"t of Livin"g Wate"r, and hewed them out wells, broken wells, which cannot even hold water" (Jeremiah 2:14). That is to say Well of Distress, for which there is no ground, because all of it is broken, [completely] broken, and water cannot stay in it, rather is it filled with snakes and scorpions. And regarding this David hinted: "let the Well not close over its mouth on me" (Psalms 69:16).
